One of the biggest points of pain for agencies is related to the manual effort required to process commissions. It's surprising, given the advancements in technology, that many agencies we speak with are RE-KEYING their carrier statements into their commission system. And often, that "commission system" is a collection of spreadsheets that are used to track, calculate, and pay commissions.

To accomplish this, we build custom “maps” for every carrier file our clients receive. Once our clients receive their files, they simply do the following:

1. Import the carrier file (AgencyBloc automatically finds the policies and calculates the payouts)
2. Review any exceptions and resolve them (new policies, etc)
3. Generate an AgencyBloc commission statement (PDF or Excel)

That’s it. No re-keying, file manipulation, or manual calculations. You can even run a report of policies with missing commission! Many carriers don’t publicize the availability of these files, so you may need to ask them or encourage them to start.
